SPECIAL EDUCATION - Special education is a form of education that provides tailored instruction and support to students with adverse/different learning needs. It involves:
- Individualized Education Program (IEP) - An IEP is a personalized plan developed for each student with special needs. It prepares the student's specific learning goals, the services and support they will receive, and the methods for evaluating progress
- Inclusive Education- children with special needs get the chance to study with normal children to imrove the sense of belonging and socialization.
- Specialized instructions- Special education teachers are trained to provide specialized instruction that addresses the unique learning styles and needs of their students. This may involve adapting teaching methods, using assistive technology, or providing additional support
- Assisitive technology- Special education may involve the use of assistive technology tools and devices to enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities. Devices such as screen readers, communication boards, or adaptive software are bemg used.
